Newbie Question

Just bought a Trilogy Sport as my entry level marker, so what is the purpose of the beaver tail? and, has anyone seen when Worr wil have thier forum up again?

It's dual function in my opinion.
It stops you from hitting yourself with the backblock.
And it prevents 'thumbing' the hammer for getting more velocity. That's to say that without it you could push on the cocking rod and the hammer when you fired a shot to make it hit the valve harder. That would increase the velocity.

the thumb trick doesn't work too well, it worked much better in older cockers but i've never been able to do it with any other cocker
