mm from what i remember 04 vert's bodies hagve a pressed feed not unscrewable. SO your going to have to do some machine work to get a clamping feedneck.

ALso a thing about the hopper. The eggy's neck is very prone to breaking due to thin necks and large amount of weight in the back so people usually shave the neck so it's lower and closer to the gun

not the newer ones. The old ones had a problem with that. The new ones are thinker than that of a halo.

Jaggy had a thread around here about press fitting a feedneck, check that.

or u could go the easy route, and cut down the feedneck of the coccker to where it thickens (where the hopper would stop if u put it all the way in) and get a ego feedneck and slap that on (ask Mr. Dirt on the Nation)

or you could go the real real easy route, and just shave a little off the feedneck of the egg...plastic is a LOT easier to resize than aluminum is...just my $.02

The feedneck on your 04 is pressed in, not screwed. You have to be careful when you remove it. People use vise grips and a lot of pressure to remove it. It may be easier to modify your hoppper tube to fit the neck than it is the reverse.

The ego neck is very nice funtionally, just not as clean as my press fit job was. (I like the ego version because it lowers the hopper even more)

The only draw back was the raw aluminum from the cut. (only noticable when the clamp is removed or when the loader is off and you look down the neck.)
