Auto Cocker Trilogy?

I'm pretty much new to paintball, and was thinking I'd end up getting a Spyder Victor today at Cabella's. Instead, I saw an Autococker Trilogy for 130 bucks and thought it looked kinda cool. I didn't pick it up, but have been looking around ebay and see tons of trilogy autocockers.

So my question is that is it safe to assume that trilogy autocockers will be alright to be bought used? I read the sticky that talked about raw co2 not being able to be used in autocockers...is this the case with the trilogy line?

Is the trilogy a good gun? If not, is there an autococker I can get for a similar price? (less than 150)

Thanks

I happen to own the sport model of the trilogies.

-It works fine on CO2

-I bought mine used and they just as good.

-you can get other autocockers for under 150, but the trilogys are very simple to maintain and clean compared to some other cockers, considering there is less parts to change/remove

i had a trilly sport

i had a trilly sport, it had a gas through grip, co2 would get it very cold sometimes and i would suggest having an antisiphon added to your tank, i think the gas grip acted a little like an expansion chamber somewhat but not much, the other trilly models have preset regs so dont know if they would run as well on co2 or not, i play woodsball and the tippy 98 was better suited for my purposes, i run HPA/Nitro now so I might opt for another Trilly as we sometimes play rec ball and on a pallet or barrel field my 98 with the flatline and stock is functional but not quite the best setup for that, the trilogy would definately be more suited for that role and I have a good air tank now so it probably would perform much much better than i had before with co2

New to paintball and want a cheap gun? Autococker Trilogy Sport hands down. As EvoDood said, it runs fine on C02 if you're a little tight on cash, and to get an AntiSiphon if you can, to keep the freezing down.

I own a Trilogy Sport and, well.. it's an 'cocker; you can't beat the accuracy for that price. I've only had a few upgrades; being an N2 tank and a new bolt (you'll notice the different with the new bolt), and I haven't had a problem with it at all.

Definitely recommended!

I love my trilogy. My philosophy is that I want to eliminate you with one or 2 well placed shots, not 40 misses. No, I don't play tourney ball, I play rec speedball. But when I can take half a case home, and get alot of eliminations, I think it's a win win. I save cash, and get to show that gear doesn't make a player, the player makes a player.

You can get Trilogys for $75 on Xtremez.com (http://www.xtremez.com/paintball/pro...p?number=GNWTC) but its only in red-black, but if you like that color or don't care, its a hell of a deal!
