autococker co2?

Hey, I got my 03 summer edit. autococker today in the mail..it came with a Pure energy 20oz co2 tank with an on/off valve. However, I dont see anything about anti syphon capabilities....Should this tank be OK? Do most co2 filling stations have anti syphoned co2?

Thanks

my initial suggestion is to not use regualr non anti siphoned co2 heres why. First off co2 is dirty in most cases has tiny metal particles that will ruin your marker. 2nd co2 is really cold which freezes the o-rings and can cause them to bust and freeze up your marker. 3rd you run inconsistent with the velocities. Also if your cocker is electro you'll ruin the solenoid. If you plan on shooting spread out and moderately slow you should be ok but shooting fast causes things to get cold rapidly. Overall I say if you have the $$$ get an HPA tank its overall the best thing you can do. I held out for as long as I could before I got a HPA tank for my cocker its just better.

there is no such thing as "anti-syphon co2"

CO2 is stored in a liquid form in the tank, and the liquid is what can damage your gun. When you buy an anti syphon tank or convert a normal tank to anti syphon they simply put a little tube that points upward in the tank so the liquid doesn't enter the gun. That works fine in an autococker.

Yes, mech cockers + co2 = fine and dandy, no problems...you'll just have to replace the occasional orings.

Ecockers + co2 = sitting on the sidelines watching others play because the selenoid dun blowed up.

so you don't need an anti syphon tank on a mech cocker?

yes you do! the more raw c02 you run through the cocker, the greater the chance of having to rip it apart to replace o rings throughout the entire gun.

Could you install yourself? Yes, if you're careful and have access to some very basic tools and equipment.

mehhh dont install an anti siphon yourself unless you are really experienced with gas systems/tank installation stuff.

as far as C02 and cockers-
its fine as long as you take care of your marker. anti siphon is a good idea, even tho it isnt 100% effective in preventing marker issues.((although ive never experienced any issues and i ran a co2 cocker for 2 years))
