2k Cocker with E2 Zero B board
Hey fellas,
I am brand new to the forums and have some questions regarding my 2k cocker. I have a stock 2k cocker (boomstick barrel) and just got the E2 frame with Zero B board. I wanted to know what else you would suggest upgrading to get a consistent 10-12 bps (15 max). I don't play any crazy games, just woodsball mostly through work and some monthly trips with buddies.
I don't want to go insane, but right now I plan on getting a delrin bolt and probably a new ram (not sure which type). I have the stock regulator and stock 3-way (heard it is only worth replacing this for a shorter trigger pull on a mechanical gun).
Any advice you can give me would be helpful and I also am going to be re-timing the gun myself because there isn't one shop in my area that knows how too. Guess it will be a good learning experience.

i can't stress how much difference you'll see with a good hopper. if all you're looking for is quick semi-auto speeds, that's really all you're gonna need. The stickies should have a timing link in them somewhere.

I'm assuming you already know not to use CO2 on an autococker, but if you don't: do not use CO2 on an autococker, most especially an electronic one. You need compressed air.
QEVs are a nice cheap upgraded that will increase your cycling speed, they cost about $20 for a pair (don't bother getting just one).

But he'd need a new ram, WGP rams had the 8/32 threaded rear. If you wanted QEV's, I'd pick up a Moody's ram with dual QEV's for it, can be had for $50. Of course, the stock ram will cycle 12 without QEV's, so it is totally optional. Truly, Number Three N00b is right, all you NEED is a good hopper. I'd drill the body and use the eyes with the e2 though, also.
When you decide to pick up a bolt, get a delrin backblock with it. With that and the ram/qev's, you're gun will shoot very fast and smooth.

Awesome, I do need a hopper since my current one only cycles about 8-9 bps. I have only ever run compressed air for the life of the gun. One question I did have was after installing the trigger will I have to re-time the gun and the trigger or just the trigger?
Also anyone know the best place to buy cocker parts besides ebay? I can't find much out there anymore.

For your hopper, I recommend the VL EyeForce. Can do 20 bps, holds 200, and gets really good battery life. Ugly as sin, but can be had for $60, and will outshoot a stock HaloB, while holding more, and weighing about the same.
