Question Backblock Timing.

Hey guys.. new to the site and Autocockers. I just got a fully mech Mini-orracle and i gas'd it up for the first time and noticed when it fired it was making a clacking sound. The person i purchased it from told me he had it timed by a tech...im just a bit unclear as to what degree the backblock has to be near the gun.... i adjusted it and when moving the backblock near and away from the body the clacking wasnt there... though im still not sure if its to far... theres about 1 thread showing on the ram rod between the gun and the block. Also something very wierd happend when i was shooting it.... the barrel kept coming loose... im assuming it was the backblock hitting the body and shaking the threads loose.... not really sure though Sorry for the noob question would appreciat any answer you guys could give ty.

PS i was using a OLD 20oz co2 tank that barely had any air in it from about 4 years ago lol... dunno if maybe that had anything to do with it. my n2 tank is in the mail lol.

well back it out one more turn. It shouldn't smack the body.

just keep in mind, if you back it off too far, you'll start double feeding paint.
