cocker newb need help please!

I am a newb like the title says and I need some help! I bought a system x cocker off craigslist with a compressed air tank. I have used paintball guns with co2 but I dont know much about air. I screwed in the tank and the gun works fine but it seems really hard to unscrew the tank. I am worried that there is lots of pressure built up and I definitely dont want to force the tank. There is a valve on the front of the drop forward that seems to control the air do I need to adjust that? Basically what I need to know is how should I detatch this tank?

Also what caliber of balls should this gun shoot? I bought some .68 cal and the balls can roll through the barrell is this normal? Thanks! Sorry for the newb questions!

It's probably an on/off. Unscrew it all the way when you want to take the tank off, then fire until the marker no longer cycles. Make sure it's screwed in all the way when you want to play.

Yes, it's normal. If it's the stock SystemX barrel it was .692 bored if I remember correctly (it's been a few years since I had one, so I might be remembering badly), most paint should roll out of that with little to no resistance.

Balls rolling out of the barrel can be quite a hassle with autocockers, and it leads to poor accuracy. I'd recommend a multi-sized bore kit down the line for best results.
