Neither will do anything for you that a regular maddman spring kit wouldn't for significantly less than a new valve.

oh so the valve is a waste of money? i tought the four holes actually did something? what about the low pressure thing? could i run 200psi on a stock valve and get the same consistancy as an impulse?
THANKS

On my 05 Superstock (same valve), I get 1800+ shots at 265 psi 285 fps on a 68/4500. Valve is already plenty good. You just want better springs. With the spring kit, I could easily drop the psi down to 190 and probably get to 2000 shots.

Unless there's something wrong with the valve, no point in replacing it. A new valve will, at best, give a fraction of a percentage performance increase over stock w/ spring kit.

Well, I think it comes with something that says which is stiffest etc. You can also do a search as there's tons of info about htem out there, and I'm sure someone has information for a direct comparison. When I personally had used the spring kit, I did trial and error.
