superstock/e2/mq2 rapid fire issue

so with the mods above iv been having a few issues getting it to fire above about 5bps anytime i get on it, it will start to just cycle the bolt but will not fire the mq2 to put air behind the ball. tried a new battery, iv been messing with both regs, i swapped out the stock reg for a hyper 2, nothing changed, im going out next weekend and need this to be working

im wondering if its anything in the timing but im still kinda a noob when it comes to that so im doing the best i can with it but sofar no luck

What's your board set for? Reset it to factory fast, even if that's where it is already. This will eliminate the possibility of it being a timing issue. Test again.

shouldnt it be factory fast with the mod mentioned in the mq2 manual?

welli tryed that, no luck, it still fires the first one then just cycles the bolt. its like it has a seper low recharge rate or something, tryed lubing the bolt as well. any more ideas?

ok i think i may have found it, unfortunatly i have to leave soon, i think the c-off was too low, causing dramatic shootdown (the worst case iv ever seen anyway 1 shot then nothing) i cranked it up to 40ms and it was noticably different but that did cause it to cycle quite slowly. so i will go through that gator guide on the autococker page tomorrow and see if i can work it out

I wish I still had my buddies number. His MQ did exactly that when he first installed it. Eventually we got it fixed, but it's been quite some time now, and I can't remember WHAT it was.

well i have a larger issue right now, i installed a new trigger (ya i found that one i was looking for, i am stoked about it too, gosh it was hard to find) and not it will not cycle at all. its not even trying, iv tryed swaping the wires from the mq2 and the front noid around, nothing, which one is supposed to be on top and which on bottom?

gosh this thing is giving me all kinds of issues now, im not certain its going to be working tomorrow

Read the Gator guid for timing the regs too. I Haven't read up on the MQ2 but it should be the same as the MQ1 as far as the regs go. That should get you very close.

ya im looking for the conection and i know gennerally they come with some length of wire already on them so that would save me from having to make a second solder (sp?) somewhere else on the wire
