midget questions

so i was messing with the prostock yesterday, i got the back block loc-tighted in place onto the pump rod, and took the cocking rod and the beavertail off since they are nolonger needed, and then was looking at the lower tube and was seeing no purpose for the IVG as i have teh mq2 in front of it, so i took it out then saw that it was holding the mq2 in place, but could not figure a purpose for the spacer inbetween the mq2 and the ivg, so i took out the spacer and put the ivg back in to hold the mq2 in place, when i gased it up it was venting air all over but i cant figure out why, moreover i was wondering, if i wanted to turn it into a midget how could i do this since the ivg is still towards teh rear? there is not a lot i can cut off if the ivg is to remain where it is? so im a little confused as to how people manage this. is there anyway to get rid of the spacer inbetween teh mq2 and ivg? that would help a lot

also i was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for a lighter bolt?

Best bolt is the Slik Edge 3. Very lightweight. also, not that it's of any importance for what you want, it has holes for side cocking and top cocking.

Can't help you on the midgetizing. Never actually done it.
