mechanical auto-cocker to electronic conversion?

Hello, Im new to paintball I guess since I used to play in High School which was several years ago and was wondering if its possible to convert a mechanical autococker like an '04 or prostock to an electronic by putting on a a e-blade an solenoid and re-timing the gun with maybe a new faster regulator and better inerds (inside parts). Guys I may be sounding dumb I used to have an old autococker back in the mid-late 90's and sold it so thats how long I been out of the loop, so really not sure just being safe than sorry. I know there are tons of nice cockers on ebay that are mechanical just wondering if it could be done.

Also, is there any tips on which autococker to buy, i know i've read that wgp has moved to korea, taiwan or some bs over ther in asia and that blows. I would like to have a electronic cocker over a mech. one due to speed but if you guys have any suggestions that would be great.

Thanks

Chris

yes, that's all that's needed to convert it. If you go to the URL in my sig for my markers, the Odyssey o3m started life as a mech.

Avoid trilogy Select Fire. Other than that, any cocker can be made nice. Trilogies can even be made fantastic, they just require a little more work. I'd look for a 2005 Superstock. They had an eframe already, decent delrin bolt, threaded feedneck, were moderately light (for a cocker), and can usually be had fairly inexpensively.
