Autocockers were one of like two high end choices back in the day. A basic cocker could easily cost $500 and they're highly regarded among older players and connoisseurs, thus they seem expensive, but you can easily pick a good cocker that cost $500 a few years ago up for $100 these days. Hell, dye reflexes were $1000 markers when they came out, now they're going for $150.
Trilogies aren't trash trash. People don't like them because there's not much you can do to upgrade them, not like a true cocker anyway. It is true that wgp lowered the quality standards when they started making their markers in china, but they're decent, just not upgradeable.
Psychoballistics are true cockers, good for tinkering and learning about cockers, but otherwise they are pretty much garbage. The pneumatics are low end and the quality of just about all parts but the body is rather poor. The body and bolt are decent, so if you buy a good frame and good pneus, they make good cockers when they're timed well.
