Unhappy Oh lord help, i think my autococker is doomed

I recently purchased an older blackmagic w/ e1 1.06 trigger and grip frame. Got it put ir to it and immediately leaks from the reg. and leak from the front block ok easy fix, now noticed that the asa with is on/off twist you understand, omg will not turn off jammed tight, I had to use a pair of channel-locks to turn it off jesus it was hard, noticed that when i grease the threads the pin looked bent on the on/off knob when turning it, found it was stripped when disassembling it. another thing is that when fired i chopped the first 3 balls then no firing at all. I cleaned it bore and bold clean and so is the valve. after reasembling the gun i can't adjust the regulator its ****ing stuck all the way down to the e-clip inside the adjustment. took **** loads of anti-seize to free it. so put it back the way it was time the bolt with the feedneck, and back block being a paper-thin gap between housing and back-block, still sounds ****ty and won't fire at all 3 trigger pull then a lod crack of air out the barrel, and this is as far as i got other than trying to adjust the valve thinking it was a valve problem.

I have no clue, please someone help it maybe a timing problem or malfunctioning part or multiple part failure, but before i call it a POS and sell it for parts/scrap would like to have some help.

Hope you guys can help.

Thanks

wow, it kinda sounds like the previous owner did not take care of it at all. first of all if it is not super heavily modded id reset the timing to factory fast, its not going to be the best setting but it should make sure it works for now. secondly your going to need a HPR that is adjustable so if the one you have is not working you need to get it fixed/replaced. if the asa is functioning as an asa then dont worry that the on/off isnt working right now, get it replaced but for testing and tinkering as long as it gets air into the marker it will work (look into the CP mini if you dont want to spend a lot, and the Bob Long gear driver if you want to spend a bit more on a on/off ASA)

you didnt mention what hopper you have on top so its kinda hard to say where the chopping problem is coming from, it is a bit of a long shot but it could also be a problem with your LPR just putting too much pressure on the ball.

so you need to get the regs in good working order first, if you need to order parts i HIGHLY suggest while getting parts you also purchase an o-ring kit and overhawl the marker (replace every single o-ring reguardless of how good it looks) these kits are gennerally $5 and it is always a good idea to have extra o-rings
