ok I'm needing to know how and when to adjust the valve and valve spring in an original blackmagic autococker, i don't know how far the brass spring tensioner and valve should be, how tight or how loose should it be or what is a good range to start in, hope you guys can help.

By brass spring tensioner, do you mean the Velocity Governor? that shouldn't be much farther than 2-3 full rotations
