If it doesn't shoot right or if you just want to make your trigger pull shorter. not recocking and skipping are 2 things that indacate you need a retiming

Timing

This is a pretty good site for learning how to time your cocker.

yea
uhh hook up your air, and put a piece of paper over the feed neck. shoot a bit, and if the paper moves then it's not timed properly.

^^ well that means one of too things

1 your gun is out of time

2 you have blow back (or whatever it is call; where air from the valve go around the bolt)

the paper method tippmannbeast prescribed doesn't work.

it's not that simple. you need to get the firing and actuating in the right spots of the pull for realiable recocking.

S----F-A----E

Key:

Start
Fire
Activate
End

Get the F and A as close together without overlapping. It takes practice, air, and a little paint to suction time.

if it choots and recocks properly, you still need to tet for blowback. If the paper moves then there's blowback and you should lengthen the hammer lug a little more
it works!

the ultimate test is pulling the trigger slowly and releasing it slowly... like 1 mm per second slow.

doing this will allow you to feel when it actuates, when it recocks and if the sear gets stuck when the trigger returns. it's a good way to test your timing as well.
