it will just wear groove in the side, I dont have to worry, When i got my gun timed, the guy took a oring and put it around my detent to raise it up a little so it doesnt jam and doesnt wear a groove in the bolt

That's why I'm going to get the kapp Ball detents, its also Delrin so it doesn't scratch or anything. Only 20 shipped.

All you need is a small o-ring to space between the detent and body... this will also keep the detent from coming loose...

I have a KAPP detent on my Cocker, and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a new detent.

i havea stock 2k2 detent and the worrblade bolt w/ o-rings. no problem and no sign of any grooves thus far

yea it will also feed faster w/ the o-ring trick.

I have stock 2k3 detents, and I have a shocktech Delrin bolt, not the same bolt, but it is the same material, and I have no signed of wear or grooves. (almost what dhill said, lol)

The stock detent put a pretty nasty scratch on my stock bolt; I decided to change both to avoid any regrets later on down the line.

Putting an oring between the body and the ball detent won't make it feed faster...

dont do the oring trick, it will just double feed more. it puts a lil wear on the bolt, but it wont hurt anything
