Yeah, a new cocking rod is something I would get if I completely upgraded my autococker and got it annoed purple. Then It would just be bugging me.
But thats because I'm wierd like that.

should have bought mine nukka.... anways. Telfon tape would suck balls for me. Do you play tournys ever? You have to crono your gun everytime you walk onto a field, and sumtimes when you walk off the field. so i would go through about 2 things of that tape. Then i would have to do that every 20mins when i would rather be filling my pods or just resting. But i can just take a allen wrench, same size to adjust velocity, un screw it, adjust velocity, screw it back in, tighten it down. and go ball

true, but during tourneys I just let the tape get all ripped up, and when im gunned down, I tighted my cocking rod, it doesnt give me too much of a problem.

I remember one time when I was at the chrono and my cocking rod shot out of the back. I was looking in disbeleif when it was gone because I couldnt find it. It was on the floor like ten feet away though. I felt like an uber noob too because that was the first time I was at this particular field.
