Cocking rod threads messed up or something?

When i'm at the chrono, it takes like 15 mintues to put in my cocking rod when i'm done. If it's tight after 2-3 twists and I shoot, the rod will shoot out. It normally takes 7-9 twists to get it in the actual spot. With 2-3 twists it'll seem like it's in but it's not. IS this a probelm for you guys too?

Yeah it happens often to me. Just take it out and try again till the threads catch right. I dont know why it does that though.

Yeah, I use Teflon on my cocking rod, saved me the $15 for the shocktech cocking rod, and it still doesnt wiggle loose during the game, as for the cocking rod threading problem, I'm not too sure, you might wanna pull out your hammer and see if the threads are messed 0?

Teflon = bad. It can cause problems, if it's really bad, just set your gun up right, and use a little loctite.
