It's known as a slide trigger because it slides the actuator rod back rather than pushing it forward when the trigger is pulled.

Yea...ne one have the animation of the one from xCOLDx's avatar, if he hasnt changed it? I cant find it. It seems to be a bit better of one cause it also shows teh air flow, in the gun, and in the frontblock.

I think the nicest thing that COG has, especially for new cocker owners, is this page
Autococker parts explained
For any new cocker owners spend 10-15 minutes on that page, you'll learn alot in a very easy format.

when you pull the trigger, the ball in the chamber is fired, the ram pushes the back block which pushes the bolt back to let another ball into the chamber then the cycle is repeated..hope that helped

There's one there when the trigger is not being pulled. I should know, because one stayed in my gun for about 4 hours after I'd taken my air off and I forgot to fire it out... So when I fired out the pressure in my gun, I fired a paintball and hit the kitchen table... Oops.

Cock the gun then gas it up. Its bad on the cup seal if you gas it up before you cock it.
