whats a 3 way? where does it go?

One of my friends jus got a WGP cocker and they guy he got it from says it needs a 3 way, well he let me borrow the gun because he went out of town so im going to buy wat it needs and have him pay me back...but i have no idea wat im buying.

A 3 way is part of the front pnuematics. Now autocockers are not my forte, but I beleive it drives the ram back and forth through a push/pull type valve.

That's basically correct. If you look at the frontblock from the front, its the only pneumatic part on the left. It has a rod that attaches to a slot in the grip frame. Buy him a Belsales Hollowpoint or WGP CT 3-way, and you'll be happy. If you can't time it yourself, bring it to a shop or go to air-powered and get the cocker links from there.

ya i dont know how to explain how it works but if you look at the front of the gun the far left part of pneumatics is the 3way, as in it has 3 hoses coming out of it, also part of the trigger (forgot name) goes into it hurray for my useless explanation

your thinking of a ram. a 3-way is NEXT to the lpr. not above. it recieves air from the lpr and distributes it to the ram. ill use my mad paint skills to show you where it is. pics are taken from autococker pic thread. teds and dharrisons cocker i think.
