unscrew the cocking rod and stick an allen key in there(forget which size) turn to the right=higher velocity, turn to the left=lower velocity

no, you unscrew the whole rod, and you will see the IVG. It'll be perfect for a 3/16" allen wrench. Like he said right turns it up left down.

It sounds like a dumb way to adjust velocity, and it actually does kinda suck having to pull the rod, adjust, put it back in, check, maybe take it out again... That's why the Rex Dialer in the Nexus kit is cool... No more pulling cocking rod at the chrono

Make sure you don't strip your threads, because you'll be wishing you didn't.

the allen wrench size is 3/16......but bsides taking out the cocking rod you can also screw in the allen at the bottom of your primary input reg. higher pressure=higher velocity

Don't adjust velocity through your reg....Geez. Sweetspot the reg and take the extra time to pull the rod... Keep the reg sweetspotted so you get better efficiency.

Changing the cocking rod length tells how far back the bolt will go.

How far back the bolt goes has nothing to do with velocity. You adjust its distance so that the breech will be open wide enough when the bolt is back so that a paintball can drop without being sliced.
When you unscrew the cocking rod, you won't affect the length. Length is controlled by the knob on the rod, not the rod itself.

Yea but if you didn't sweet spot the reg and you took the cocking rod out, and chronoed using the cocking rod area and its not high enought then you need to adjust through your reg.

Make sure this step is repeated if needed.
