I stripped the screw hole for the beavertail, I tried teflon tape but it did not work. I need to have the hole re threaded. Is this something that I can have a machine shop do or do I need to send the gun to a paintball specialist?
Has this happened to any one and what did you do to rectify the problem?
Any idea what it will cost to fix?
You cant weld aluminum right ?
Thanks for your input...

try tarantula mfg. thats where my autocockers body is right now getting the gripframe screw and feed tube fixed, but if its just the beavertail i wouldnt worry about it... unless the field you play at is really strict about those.

Unless he plays in tourneys, in which case his gun would not be legal without a beavertail. The cocking rod can be pushed on for increased velocity during game play if a beavertail is not equipped.

It causes the hammer to hit the valve with more force (the same thing that happens when you turn up the velocity using the springs) releasing a higher consistency of gas behind the ball, creating higher velocity.
