New Karnivor Probs-Need Help!

I am new to cockers-thus the questions:

New Karnivor with 1500 balls thru it.

Shot PREFECTLY up to 1000 balls.

Now It has drop off when shooting at over 10-15 pbs. Balls loose velocity and the dropout of the barrel and then the marker will not cycle.

Tried adjusting the LPR on the front left side of the marker (looking as if you aiming the marker) Did not seem to help that much.

Tried adjusting the inline reg, now the marker will not crono above about 255 when before it was at 287-290.

Like I wrote, it shoots perfectly when I shoot it slow. When I rip, it drops off. I did set the marker to fact fast, no effect.

I need a electro cocker wise to help me out. Thanks!

P.S. 3000 psi in a 800 preset bulldog with on/off.

The less air you the more inaccurate the ball is (i think) maybe don't know?

I thought that as well. Had 3000 psi. Plenty of air.

First off, if you own a karni, why are you using Angels Logo for your avatar?

Well in anycase, It sounds like the air is getting restricted somewhere, most likely a piece of teflon tape got jammed somewhere, your best bet is to disassemble the gun and inline, and check for anything restricting airflow.

Make sure your gun is actually set to factory fast. Maybe you thought it saved but didnt. Because it sounds like your coff time may be set too low. If that's not it, then since you've already checked the LPR, i'd guess that it would be some sort of air bottleneck.

How would I know if I am in FF? Everytime I check it it says FS-I am sure I put it on FF. I thought it displayed FS as a defaukt if you check it.

FS?

Open the right side grip and with the eblade on, press and hold the red button.

Scroll to FACT and then choose PR F (Preset Fast)

If that doesn't help... Is your On/Off ASA if you have one screwed in all the way? And is your tank a HP preset?

The on/off may be the issue. I noticed that the air is off when I turn the air ALL THE WAY to the on position. If I turn it 1/4 of a turn back, it seems fully on. Is that right? Maybe I am just being a complete moron and not knowing how to operate an on/off valve.

Question: When adjusting the velocity on the Karni's inline: is clockwise increaseing or decreasing the velocity?

Now after messing with this thing the marker will not Crono over 260 and it fluctuates all over the place.

Any ideas before it goes back to WGP?

Do all Cockers have this much problems out of the box or an I just the jucky winner of a jacked up Karnivor?

You're getting velocity fluctuations really bad probably because you were screwing with your inline. Try sweetspotting it.

Sweetspot the LPR or the inline?

What is the correct way to sweetspot? Adjust to non-function and then adjst up until cycle then 1/4 up?

The inline.

And no, that's the correct way to adjust the LPR.

To sweetspot the inline, take out your cocking rod and turn your velocity adjuster all the way out. Then screw it in two full turns.

The way your inline regulator affects velocity is that the greater the input pressure, the greater the velocity, but only to a certain point. After that point, the extra pressure causes the valve to close prematurely... So to sweetspot it, you want to find out where your velocity stops increasing and begins to decrease with the added pressure.

You need air, paint, and a chronograph.

Fire over the chrono while increasing the pressure of the reg until your velocity begins to drop. Lower the pressure a bit (which at this point will raise the velocity) until your velocity starts to drop again. You want to find the point where ANY change in the pressure results in a lower velocity. That's the sweetspot.

What kind of bottle do you use. I take it you use an adjustible reg bottle. What pressure do you have going into the inline.

I have an adjustible and a preset bottle. The preset is at 800 psi while the adjustible will only go to 600 psi.

The guys at WGP said to go with 800 psi, however, I read alot of folks shoot less than that. Wonder which is best....

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!!

No I use a preset 70/4500 Worrgas system.

When I say adjust the pressure on the reg, I mean the inline regulator that also acts as a front grip on your marker.

If you are using the adjustable tank, then I don't know if it works the same way. And when you say it's set at 600 psi do you mean the tank output pressure or the tank regulator pressure? In other words, does the bottle output only 600 psi? Or does the regulator only let you adjust upto 600 psi?
