if the paint bounces off the wall, how is that timings fault? probably either crappy paint, or crappy shower

ya, the only thing i can think that would be wrong with the cocker is the velocity is to low. To adjust, take out cocking rod and insert allen key and turn to right. If the gun shoots fine and everything, then the timing should be fine

How olds the paint? becuase that might be a problem, otherwise, its most likely velocity as 666 said.

No, it is not, don't get any barrel longer than 14", 16" max...
Try shooting at something hard (like a tree or something) from farther away than 5ft... if the balls are still not breaking, then take out the cocking rod (thing on back of gun that goes through the back block), unscrew it, take it out, insert an 3/16 (I think) allen wrench, and turn it clockwise 1/4 of a turn. Put in the cocking rod and shoot it again. If it's still not breaking, repeat process again, and again if needed. If you've turned the allen key a full circle by the time you're done, then you could be right about the timing, in which case take it to someone who knows what they're doing.

If you do this be sure to rechrono your marker before you play with anyone..even if you arent playing at a real field.
