some believe that since the autococker has more mass to recock, they are slower. With proper settings and practice, you can get probably get 16bps, or even 18, although thats hard.

nice response masteropaint
if you don't have time to work on your gun and you just like to gas up and go an ecocker isn't for you.

My friend has shot 21 bps on his e outkast. I have shot both a timmy and a I own an e-cocker and i personally like the fell and look of the cocker. Plus with upgrades i think it shoots better then a timmy.
Just my opinion.

I think its because the autococker seems like its doing more than a timmy when it shoots, so it appears like it would be slower. This may hold true when it comes to higher cycling rates, but in the practical range, it doesn't really mean a thing. I've had my e-orracle outrun a halo, so in all honestly, that's plenty fast enough. You gotta realize that no matter how fast a gun can cycle, it's still limited by the hopper, and, more importantly, the shooter's fingers. Guys that say they've gotten their timmies up past 26 bps either had bounce or cheater boards. I doubt that anybody can actually shoot a 100% bounce/cheater-board free marker past around 22 bps, and even that's pushing it. I've shot timmies, including my teammates upped lasoya, and I can say that I like my e-orry more.

u can make an ecocker rip like no other, but the problem is it wont be legal. i maxed my loader befor over a chrono no problem. legally, w/ very lil bounce, i get about 18 bps. seriously though, timmies and trixes are much better buys. i have a trix and a sick e-cocker and the trix shoots circles around it, and everyother gun out there (lighter and faster then a dm4, gotta love cheater boards)

my friend can shoot 17 bps on his nightkast, and that's stock with a halo
and some people just like the feel of a cocker, so its up to them. some people may be
able to shoot faster on a timmy, some on a cocker, some on a trix, etc

This has got to be the most over asked question on this board. Is this gun better than that gun...bla..bla..bla.
Answer the question for yourself and go shoot an eblade, timmy, angel, shocker, matrix, whatever.
You'll find that each gun has advantages and disadvantages.
I own an Angel Force 4, and a Toxic Matrix and a Karnivor.
If all I need to do is waste a couple of cases of paint covering a lane, I shoot the Angel. If I want to hit what I am aiming at with a shot or too I use the Matrix. The Karni is new and I have had some problems with it, but all of those I caused.
Out of the three, I enjoy shooting the Karni best.
Do your research, and get what you like, not what some BS paintball company or it's sponsored playersw tell you is best.
"best" in paintball is very easy. A spyder will mark a play just as easy as a Angel or Timmy or DM4.
P.S. Buy what YOU like and what fits YOUR style.

no, u will be able to shoot faster on a timmy, trix, or a4 fly. the cocking mass slows the ROF of a cocker down greatly. the only production cocker that can really hang in terms of ROF is the karnivor due to the super low cocking mass. the nexus can get up there too. u can make a cocker preform better then a karni if u get the right backblock, bolt, ram and spring combo though. the cost of all this is not worth it IMO

Yes, the higher mass will slow down the cycling rate of the cocker compared to a timmy or something, but that's on the higher end of a bps scale (considering you're using a fairly ight cocking components). A nicely equipped E-cocker is capable of shooting in the low 20 bps range, and isn't that really fast enough? I said it in my first post and I'll say it again: Anybody that claims they shoot over around 22 bps on a tourney legal marker (no bounce/cheater board) is probably lying. Basically, a nice e-cocker is capable of shooting faster than most people are capable of shooting it, and that's definately fast enough imo.
