Digital Gangsta

So I had the nexus kit installed on my gun I had some serious problems at the chrono today. My local shop installed the parts and timed my gun so I thought it was ok. However, I tried turning the rex all the way in and the max I could come up with was like 200. I tried to ajust the reg to no avail (If I turned it up too far it would leak down the barrel). I then talked to the tech that did it and he said he used the stiffest spring in the kit. I then (after pretty much wasting my whole day at the field) put my original eva and stock spring back in and I'm getting better results. Has anyone else had problems like this?
