My guess is you do not play airball. Try playing airball with a 12in barrel, you'll embaress yourself. 14in and 16in are very common when playing airball. Also, saying the best length is 12in is purely an opion. I prefer 14in barrels.

^^^^yeah he's right- longer barrels are benefficial in airball because you can press in the fabric and play tighter. I like using a 10" front for Hyperball tubing and other non-airball bunkers. It's all a matter of personal preference and field setup.

Yeah, the end of my barrel was flush with the end of my LPR, and it was just as acurate as my 14". But it's all about opinion and prefrence of the user.

the only thing that barrels over 12 inches do is decrease velocity and consequently this reduces accuracy. you would think the opposite but none the less short barrels are more efficent.
