99 cocker hinge trigger????

Yeah im about to trade a guy my guitar for his 99 cocker with boomstick and ans front block. I just wanted to know if it is possible to put a hinge double trigger frame on it and if i can get a new back block for it..The 99 trigger frame is ugly and so is the backblock. New to autocockers so if anyone has answers please help. thanks, josh

Just be sure, that if you change the backblock to a 2000+ style that you also change the bolt to the same. If you mix the two styles, you'll have problems.

I believe that is a pre-2000 Kapp block, which should work fine on yours.

Those gripframes are a bit steep. You can find WGP versions on Ebay for about half that.

yeah i wouldn't go for those frames. they don't even come w/ a trigger. and mabye not even the sear or anything.

benchmark frames are pretty nice... but still- he's right, i DOUBT they come with a sear, trigger or springs. Get a nice sliderframe and put a roller sear in there, then buy a rounded hammer lug- you will love it. Some people hate sliders, some love them. It's all trying this and that, then deciding.

yeah i just got one of those system x ones, ive heard they are cheap ..but i got it on ebay brand new for 20 bucks..cant beat that
