Distance problems

I've been shooting my 99 STO lately and noticed a huge difference in the distance the paint went. Something must be wrong with something because it hasnt been shooting very far. I checked and the velocity is fine. What could be the problem? It used to shoot twice as far not too long ago 0?

When he said paint-to-barrel match he meant if the bore size properly fitted the barrel. To test this out stick the paintball in the back of the barrel, when it is unscrewed from the gun, and you should be able to blow on the barrel and it should come out. If it rolls out, the paint is to small, if your cheeks turn purple, its to big. Their is a video on Webdog that covers this.

your reg pressure may be low. I suggest sweet spotting your reg. Regs may need to be re-sweet spotted every few months. Check your timing just in case. Also- you may want to consider buying some new springs (like FF springs). new springs will help in creating a more efficient marker and will possibly fix velocity problems.
