ive yet to do this, so lets see if i remember...

turn the inline reg alll the way down and then turn it up until the gun cocks reliably. From here, fire a few shots over the crono and turn up the reg, continue to do this until your velocity levels out(around 200ish fps), then starts going down. turn it back a bit to get it just when it begins to shoot at the highest you can get it. Now just turn up your velocity using the velocity adjuster until your up around 290 fps!

Hope this helps.

it massively increase the effeciency of your gun. A Properly sweetspotted cocker can get a good 1500 or so shots on a 68/4500

no no no bro. you've got it all backwards.

first thing first.

inline reg- first, screw out yoru velocity adjustment till its only 2 or 3 turns in.2nd, turn in down to where the guns velocity dosen't do much(btw u need a chrono). now turn it up in ohh say 1/2 turn incriments. checking the velocity each time. keep doin this until the velocity reaches its maxx, then begines to go back down as you continue to turn it up. now turn it back down to the point of max velocity. you have now sweetspotted your primary reg, now readjust your spring tension velocity adjuster until it is shootin at the right velocity. you should also see more consistancy over the chromo, not to mention more shots per fill

LPR
turn your lpr down until it won't cock properly(ie: turn it all the way down then fire the gun, it own't recock.) now, turn up your lpr while holding the trigger. turn it up until the block pushes the bolt and cocking rod all the way back. test fire it a few times to see if it is cocking reliably(particuiarly under faster fire). now give it an extra quarter ot half turn for good measure and best reliability.

now you're all done.

hope this helps.

ehhhhh i wasnt that far off lol, i just did the velocity last, instead of turning it all the way down first.

no its not. see heres the point behind sweetspotting your inline reg: when you sweetspot your reg you adjust it so taht its pressure goign into the gun is ideal for the valve and spring combinations(as well as other factors like the bolt) of your particular gun. sweetspotting your lpr helps give you better effeciency by using as little pressure as possible to recock the gun. also doing this helps to reduce ball chops because there is less force pushing the bolt foward onto a ball taht would normally be chopped.

so more force behind the gun isn't always better? i thought the more pressure you put behind it the faster it goes, but now that i think about it, cockers have a three way and use air to recock the gun...i get it now.

I posted that a while back and people seemed to like that explanation... It tells WHY the velocity drops at a certain point and it's easy to see why the sweetspot does what it does (since you get the best use of your air before recocking)
