3-way timing rod probs

I just put a hinge frame on my 99 r/f. It all works properly but where the rod from the 3-way that connects to the trigger frame always works its way and sticks out. It doesnt come completely out of the trigger hole, but it pops out a little. Is this a normal thing for hinge frames and is there any way to fix it?

[edit] o yeah, forgot to mention, it doesnt effect the way it shoots, it just bugs the crap outta me

Sorry if someone already posted about this but i looked and i didnt see anything on it.

thanks, josh

It is normal, mine does it as well. best thing i can think to try would be to wrap a little something around the rod so that it fits more stugly into its hole in the trigger frame.
