Help! (Already read sticky)

Ok. I'm getting a pretty much new 04 cocker in a bit. I'm gonna get money for Christmas. First on my list is a big air tank. I know I need high pressure. What should I get next? pneus? I don't know good brands. I want a nice mech cocker, cuz eblade is so expensive... maybe in the future. Birthday is in March, and I'm getting a nice chunk from my dad for me 16 bday. (prolly should use for car, but hey, I like paintball!!!!)

So, I'm pretty much asking what should I get to up my cocker, and in what order, and what brands? THANKS!!

I already read that, and most of it makes me more confused becuase there are too many choices. Pretty much what I need is somebody to pretend that they have a NIB 04 cocker, and have them to upgrade it. Money isn't a matter. Thanks Mike.

That is basically what Jim and I did. We took you threw the steps of upgrading, the important stuff in the beggining, less important stuff towards the end. Between the options listed you will notice a very small performance difference, all of them are good quality.

First thing I'm getting is an air system, cuz it's already on its way. I've pretty much decided on these...

Eclipse lpr (74.99)
Nexus Kit (169.99)
WGP Orracle 3-way (54.95)
??????Free Flow Nylatron Bolt (49.99)???????

Is there anything that must come before the other? I'm not sure on what order to get these things. Also, I will buy a new hopper, but don't know when to get one, in the order of the other upgrades.

The Nexus Kit comes with the DART bolt, will that suffice? I don't feel like paying 170 bucks for something, then having to pay another 50 for something that preforms the same as something I already have.

I still don't know what I should get color-wise. Should I just get all chrome accesories? I can't wait until I finally get the money for all this stuff!!!!!

color is what i CAN do...just get something to match your marker or get something that will fill the theme of your marker like patriotic stuff (red, white, blue or some other colors for soem other flag) etc..

I would suggest, after you air of course.
1. barrel kit.
2 good inline reg. (torp, CP, palmer.)
3. Spring kit and maybe a heavier hammer. (screw the nexus kit and save mad cash)
4. any delrin bolt. (white if you may ever go eblade)
5 do a trigger job and learn to time you cocker.

that will give you a maintenace free bolt, lower operating pressure, easily adjustable reg for fine tuning, shorter trigger pull and the stock LPR is adjustable. you can lower your cocking pressure to minimize chops.

nothing wrong w/ a used bolt, usually can find one for any where from 12-20 shipped.
and you should be able to do all of this for less money than the nexus kit alone, and you will get more performance.

unless you just want to say, "Nexus kit inside!" then throw money at it.

I just dun wanna **** up! I don't want to not buy something that won't work with something I already have. I think I'd rather get it all together and be sure it will work! Thanks anyway.

And whoever posted about paint, I knew that much, I was just asking about what colors look good on cockers. I'm looking at getting all red parts, or all chrome parts. Its flat black, now.

You do know that the whole thing about E-Blade eyes not being able to read black bolts is a myth. If it wasn't a myth why would Planet Eclipse (makers of the E-Blade) include a black DART bolt? I always use a black bolt with my E-Blade and I have never had a problem.

If money is no object just buy an eblade, raceframe or osiris. then upgrade the bolt, lpr, reg, barrel, and so on. Also make sure you got an upped egg, halo or reloader b.
EDIT: Never mind I am dum. I just read that you already said no e-blade. My bad. But get it anyway.

personally I think it doesn't really matter what order you get the stuff in as long as you get it but that looks like a good plan to follow
