To much oil ?
Ok well the other day i was oilin up the cocker ( I named her Jessie) and well I think I got to much oil in there cause now it only shoots every couple a shots. It cocks (moves the back plate but doesnt blow air) if this is a better description.
ANy how , is there a way to get the oil dried up without pullin it all apart short of sprayin brake cleaner in the asa. (I dont think thats a good idea)
HElp on this 1 is appreciated. Otherwise I will wait for my vavle tool to get here and then pull it apart.

Sounds more like the lug is to high if the gun was cylcing but the air wasn't propelling the ball out of the marker. Remove the bolt, stick the long allen wrench (not sure on the size, it came with your marker) down the hole inbetween the feedneck and the backblock, and turn it 1/4 a time clockwise. Keep doing this until the gun properly cycles. It is easier to do this if you know what you are doing. What is happening is sear is has to be lowered more to slip under the lug and release the sear.

Well that was an easy fix, sorry my airhead forgot that I pulled the trigger back apart and then oiled the gun so i was thinkin the oil caused the prob.
Thanks for straightening me out there guys (or gals). i am learnin how to mess with this thing though and I do like tinkerin so..
So does every 1 refer to any adjustment on a cocker as TIMING ? or is it just the term used ?

Timing refers to the settings that make the gun fire in conjunction with one another. The aspects of timing are
-backblock
-bolt (how far it projects out of gun when cocked back)
-Sear Lug
-Three Way

Timing is just gettign it so your marker does everythign its supposed to when its supposed to. I'm no cocker expert but I was going to get a cocker, adn thats basicly what I got out of it.
