screwed up ram i think
alright, my gues it was either to cold or the LPR. Here's what was hapening. Inside my house i put the air in and i was walking it fine. I filled the hopper and took it outside. It was around 50 outside that day so a little nippy. When i went outside i would shoot slowly and it would be fine. Once i started walking abouht 2 shots would go off then the block would stop. It recocked 3/4 of the way. THe back block just stoped. I wasn't really sure what was going on so i pulled the block the rest of the way back and it recocked. So i walked it again and same thing happened. The i got pissed so i took it inside to check it out. Then i started walking it in my house again and it was fine. What do you guys think is going on?

well, if you took it back into your house and it started working again, I don't think your ram's screwed up.

it wasn't the cold. I have been playing in the cold 30 - 40 range. ( I wish it was 50)
we have one guy still using co2 on his cocker. Sounds to me like you ram is not releasing the pressure correctly. the ram works by air being pushed on either side to push the ram forward or back. if air is getting trapped inside one side, it will act like a shock absorber and lock the ram in that position. that is one of the reasons QEV's or TRV's can aid in increasing your rate of fire. QEV's would most likely be a simple fix and increase your rate of fire. but you may need to retime your 3 way if the gas is not being vented property.

i have qevs and my 3-way is timed fine. Why would the ram be the problem if it worked fine inside but not outside?

how warm is it in your house, What kind of ram do you have.
Maybe the pressure changed suddenly idk, sounds kinda dumb but. put your air on your gun after being outside for about 5 minutes and see if that does something.
Maybe the gun doesnt like the cold and thats its way of saying it needs to be warm.
But it sounds like air is getting trapped in your ram. If you know any1 with a cocker near you put there ram on your gun and see if the same thing happens.

Weather doesn't affect compressed air so that's not it. Did you have the eyes on while you were shooting? It could also be the LPR as ViolentRogue suggested, but other than that your ram sounds fine.

Make suse to put new batterys in, when using an eblade when you get about half battery life left you will have recocking problems.

you may have been pinching balls.. not sure, because it worked inside, without paint i hope, and outside with paint it jammed. also ait might be trapped in the ram, try getting some TRV's or QEV's. any questions on what those are? PM me.

He already says he has QEV's and those wouldnt effect it because they only release the air so you can shoot faster. My best guess it would be batterys or lpr turned to low.

It could be the bolt clearance, check that.

I had the same problem last nite, your paint is keeping the bolt from goin forwards, turn up your lpr, loosen the screw all the way on the front reg untill it recocks and you should be good to go.

alright its not the marker i've had this problem done to me everytime i play....its the paint...the bolt is stuck on the paintball, just hold dodwn the trigger or recock the marker, it should be fine..next time either loosen up the detent the teeniest bit or find better paint

don't turn your LPR up, that would just make you chop through the balls instead of pinching them. You're getting Blowback, which means your 4-way is acuating too early and air is escaping up your feed neck. I don't know how to adjust e-cockers, but you might want to try unscrewing your Hammer lug a little.
