3-way question

Ok, i was looking at new 3-ways, specifically the orracle one. it says it has this adjustable thing on the 3way, but what exactly does it adjust??? I heard that it adjusts the recocking point, but isn't that wat the 3 way rod is for... (Also, is the orracle 3 way really good, or would i be better off with anothero ne)

3-way rod is for changing the actuation point of your trigger pull. The adjustable 3-way allows you to make the 3-way shorter. And yes, the orracle 3 way is a very good one. Usually the bomb and belsales is considered the best 2, and I think the orracle is very nearly as good as the bomb. I've never used a belsales to comare to for that.

so the 3way rod is used in timing. and what does it change if the 3way is 'shorter'?

thanks,

instead of having to pull it |-----------| that far to fully actuate it, you can pull it |--------| that far, therefore able to shorten your trigger pull further, but also requiring more perfect timing.

basicly yes. i wouldn't bother w/ buying the orracle just for that feature. the pull on the beesales hollowpoint and the shocktech bomb are said to be shorter overall. just learn to time it property and get a bomb or hollowpoint.

Yeah, I agree it's not a reason to buy it alone, but it is nice to have the ability.

Great choice unless you plan on eventually going to an electronic trigger, then you might wanna spend the extra $$ to get a haloB or empireB.

I just got this not long ago. Nice kit.

I don't really see the point in replacing internals. They're just minor variations of stock.

I prefer WGP worrblade bolt better, but still good choice

Orracle 3-way
Good choice, if the bomb is about the same price, I'd get it instead, but if hte orracle is cheaper, get it, it's still a great 3-way.

GREAT performance. I'm not too big on how easy it is to adjust, I like a little more stiffness, but awesomely great lpr

Great choice

Never used, heard it's good, personally I would prefer cp simply because I know beyond the shadow of a doubt it's quality

the internals come with a hammer and springs and a valve, and (i hope i'm right) this will let me get a lighter trigger pull. This is only a little bit more expensive than the hammer and the springs so i thought i'd just get this.

Thanks for the info,

PB'82

"Pure Energy 68/4500 Tank "

get a crossfire, the pin valve leaks on the PMI tanks.

yea, might opt for an aci or a crossfire tank. rather than freeflow internals, buy a macdev valve, or a rat valve and buy a spring kit(i think its nelson's spring kit is the best). might swap back blocks, the silk back block is sweet, as is the shocktech back block. i'd either get a superfly bolt or a worrblade bolt. i'd just stick w/ delrin on the bolt basicly.

from the mouth of "cocoloco" A name that I trust when it comes to cockers. The stock valve flows just fine. Upgrade the valve if you want to tell people you have an upgraded valve, not for performance.

I would suggest you get a heavier hammer and a spring kit instead of the internals.
(I have FF Inernals on my eblade....woopdy dooo!)

If you are planning to go ebalde at somepoint, don't bother w/ the 3way or hammer until after you get the blade.

I also see nothing wrong with a used delrin bolt for $12 shipped, but if you want to spend $50 on the nylaron, its is supposed to be really nice. Also if you are planning eblade at anypoint get a white bolt instead of black.
