How do you deal with fragile paint
I was out at a Field this weekend and was stuck shootin some real fragile (ave. 2 bounce) paint. I had the barrel a lil loose (paint to barrel fit) but it kept breakini in my Reloader B hopper.
IS there anything that can be done to help this ?

Not really, the onlything that will help it that I know of is buy differnt paint.
And make sure the barrel to paint fit isnt loose like you said it was, that will help a bit.

I have been having a rough go it this winter because of the cold. we are getting breaks in hoppers, (Halo B, appachi) and in barrels just because the shell is so brittle in the cold. We are trying to keep our paint warmer, but I am not sure if that is the casuse for you. It sux tho. I feel your pain.

for the cold weather.. try buying a heating pad you can plug into your car adapter, and bring a cooler... place from bottom to top..... towel, heating pad, towel, balls, towel.. and then place towels on the side.. so you're creating a warmer climate for the balls so they won't be so brittle.... i also thought about using those hand/foot warmers (the kind that you shake, and they get warm in the little packets) and taping it inside the hopper to keep it warm in there too.... but it doesn't get THAT cold around here... but it's something to try! lemmie know how it goes if anyone tries it

electric heating pads + towels = fire hazard... read the safety labels
try using the same method.. but using hand or foot warmers, no electricity... and they use pockets of air (what ur creating with the towels) to get warm. i use them in band all the time for competitions. it gets cold in PA in the winter.. and having an ice cold tuba on my shoulder doenst help. i also put them in my band gloves, theyre really warm and keep my fingers moving well, and my mouthpiece warm.

nope... but a school about 20 mins away went to california for nationals last year... damn those ambridge bandies...our show was west side story this year.. we kicked ass this year. im gonna make us high school band players a thread in general discussion.. hope it doesnt get locked...
and bigger bore paintballs wont work better. theyll be rubbing against more of the barrel, causing a break. what u want is a nice loose fit.

Alright guys, stop high jacking his thread, if you want to talk about band compititions and whatnot, go to the lounge and do it.
And crcdude, I dont think there is a speical brand that is better, they all work the same (for all I know), so just go for the cheapo ones at your local dollar store, where 3 things in the store are actually a dollar. I hate those damn dollar stores....

best way IMO to not chop paint is to lave a light main spring and i med light valve spring with a high flow valve and a heavty hammer. cause il have a crazy low cocking pressure.
