could any one tell me what qevs do?

when your ram actuates the air used to do so has to exit the system somehow. if you do not have qev's that air has to run back through the pnumatics hoses and out the 3-way. if you have qev's that air can be directly vented at the ram itself. this results in faster ram cycling times. if your ram can cycle faster then you can potentially get the gun to fire more times a second. in other words, they can raise your bps.

i agree with breevesii, and i will also add to it. make sure the ram you buy will accept QEV's

I have an award for him (barrel kit in my sig.)
QEV is a quick exhaust vent
TRV is a Turbo reliefe valve
both do the same thing but have a different thread pitch. so QEV's go on most rams, TRV's go on STO rams.
neither are needed until you get and eblade.
althogh they do wonders for the recocking speed.

TRV's will fit on other rams as well, not just the sto ram. I have an ANS ram and they fit okay.
