Does the stock regulator on the 04Prostock suck A5s? Just asking how good is it and should i upgrade that before the Pneumatics. My friend brought up that subject and i never thought about it cuz i thought the stock would work work just fine.

I can imagine it's not the best, much like most stock regulators, its most likely just manufactured to get the job done, whether its half assed or not.

If you upgrade your HP reg, it will do wonders for you gas efficiency and the consistency of your velocity, but it is not necessary to upgrade it right away.

I would recommend the pneumatics first, but that is just my personal opinion, I'm sure others wont agree with me, but I think the stock ones work just fine as long as you don’t mind some fluctuation in the velocity or efficiency of the gun.

I used the stock HP regulator on my 03' VF till the day I sold it. It might not have looked pretty, or worked as well as say a CP reg, but that little bugger sure as hell got the job done.

I did the same as Jim did above. cept mine was a 2k2. It works fine. The greatest fluctuations I had was 20 and thats because I was using co2.
