Cockers in the Rain1!!
I played in the raiin today... wow was that an experience lol. I was sliding everywhere, soaked to the point where more water was coming off me than was actualy coming from the clouds, played alot of speedball, and didnt get any eliminations. :-(
Lol, my gun was sooo awful, it made me really laugh. Every shot was curving to no end. I couldnt hit targets ate 30 feet with this thing. All my paint was dry, but i think my barrel was wet on the inside. Take into account that was a STOCK barrel, an awful paint to barrel match, and brittle old ass paint. I think i totaled about 20-30 chops + 20-30 that broke in the barrel. Like i said lol, crazyyyyyyyyyy rain today.
Out of all the rain performance, and through all the chops, i have to say i was impressed with the overall performance when the shots would go straight and didnt break. Can't wait to get this gun out on a sunny day!!!
Any of you guys have any experience with pb in the rain, if so, i NEED TIPS!!
Other stories welcome lol. I think next time we play in the rain ima use my tippy. :-/

I play in the rain, shine and snow with my eblade. I put a little liquid electric tape on the back of my eye. as long as water does not creat a short on the board you are fine.
As for the curving inacuracy, I would chalk that up to bad paint. broken balls will slime the inside of your barrel. I usually carry 3 or 4 swabs and clean the barrel and dry it after each game.

Yeah, deffinetly. I had plenty of swabs, but my swabs got soaked too lol. The field had NO dry area. They had this little hut but the roof leaked like a mofo, so we just chilled in their, trying to keep our equipement clean... didnt work. Just picked up a matchstick(2 piece, not whole kit) so hopefully ill be shooting darts next time i go.

Ooooh, that matchstick is NICE...I got one (5 piece, 3 backs 2 fronts)for my dragunfly, and it shoots REAL sweet, quiet too. Wish I had more bores, but it's still a gigantic improvement on stock.

lol, this is true... it was kinda fun, except for the cold. I'm pretty sick right now and my parents keep blaming it on my playing in the rain+cold :-/
Anyway thanks for the input on the matchstick, woot. I can't wait till it gets here.

Rain play
Web dog radio has a neat lil clip and tips that can help. My experience so far tells me to keep my paint warm and your barrel as dry as possible, cause as soon as it gets wet (paint curves) or cold (paint gets fragile). i had a bunch of good tips for keepin paint warm, either leave it in a warm car or get them little hand warmers and wrap them in a towel with your paint.
Check this out http://www.webdogradio.us/video/tipclip/p4.html

i take off my custom products barrel and put on the stock one when theres rain BECAUSE the stock doesnt have ports for the barrel to get wet.
mech cockers are best guns for rain environments
