01 Black Magic barrel question (pics included)

Hey everyone, well I was recently looking at other Black Magics that people have out there and was wondering something about mine. Am I using a Dye Boomstick? or just a Dye barrel on mine? (I bought the gun from someone else)

This barrel does not unscrew apart (the kind that was "glued" together) but I am not sure if it is just an older Boomstick because I've heard the older ones were just glued together.... or is it just a stock Dye Barrel. Any help?

Note: I don't know if this helps but you can't see it in the picture because the logo is on the bottom of the barrel and I can't take a picture of it.... but it has the Dye logo on it. Also, There aren't any grooves in it like a Boomstick has in it but I'm not sure if only the newer ones were the only boomsticks to have grooves.

Here are some pictures I took that could maybe help.

it looks like the stock barrel except the stock is supposed to be curved instead of square in the middle

see the thing is though, there are grooves in that picture of those boomsticks near the back of the barrel. My barrel doesn't have the grooves.... I am not sure if that has to do with being maybe an older boomstick..... or not a boomstick

well i have never seen a boomy clone before, so maybe its just an old one...or someone took the back of a J&J two piece and glued it onto a boomstick front, because the back looks exactly like a J&J

I think it's an old style glued boomy.

It is an older glued Boomstick. If you look at the porting it is the exact same of that of current Boomsticks.
