Bikes
You can just skip the next if your too lazy. go to my tl;dr section.
I only know a little about bikes, but I'm getting my permit next week and my license in november. I can save up over the summer for my first ****box, I mean car (or bike, as I'm getting too).
I'm interested in getting a bike becuase I can get one brand new for under 10 grand. Plus it won't take up space in my already crowded narrow driveway, and I guess they are pretty cool.
Right now the only issue is my mom.. when she married my stepdad she made him get rid of all his guns, and his hog. She says they were too dangerous.
Now, three years ago when I first wanted to get into paintball, my mom would go ballistic if I even started a conversation about how ice it would be to not spend $50 renting every time I play for a crappy gun and ****ty mask. Like we're talking "Hey ma, I was looking at this paintball marker, and"- "NO! Were not having a gun in this house period!". A year of badgering and saving and I got my very own piranha. Two later and theres markers littering my room, and I really have no other interests then paintball.
So I am almost sure I can get her to say yes before november when I get my junior license. And its out of the question to buy it behind her back. I'm too good, adn she's too deserving for that. Did that with a paintball gun once.. Man it was bad.

SO! After all that bs, I just want to know a little about bikes, and if the ones I've been looking at are reputable.
I really dont like cars from japan, but theres no escaping names like honda, kawasaki, suzuki, etc when looking for bikes.
The only Honda I like thats relatively cheap for my budget is the 599. No real lemons I could ifnd about it on my own.
The GSX r600 looks like its pretty much the counterpart for a honda 599. Comes in red stock too
And the Kawasaki I was eyeballing is another 600cc class, a ZX6RR.
all three bikes have a lot of similarities. I've still got a lot more I know I should learn before I consider a bike any more seriously.
Thoughts/comments?

i know tons about bikes and so does bubba but hes serving our country now
if it were up to me, yamaha yzf-r6 all the way, bike in my avvy
dont go above a 600 for your first bike
the gsx-r is the biggest in its class but they are really wide which i dont like
the r6 is slim, sleek, and fast which i like
kawasakis look pretty nice but dont have the best performance

Dont go above 600. I was thinking about getting a Suzuki Katana 600, but dont have enough money for one, and my parents wont let me get one...so kinda screwed there.
Also, 1337 when did you come back? I thought you were still Xball?

It's pretty obvious you don't know very much at all about streetbikes actually.
