lol ive done that to myself with my w-bin inside a car. we had to turn it off quickly though cause the windows were about to shatter (not thick plexiglass like comp cars)

it doesnt even feel like bass anymore at that level. you almost feel it in your throat, and your whole body locks up and can hardly move

Bass on that level is a serious health hazard. Not sure on all the dB ratings and such but I think 170dB is the level of a rocket ship taking off. Theres been quite a few vehicles to get above this level for one, Scott with the Bramha van. Not sure on the ratings of that vehicle but its not overkill ona competition level. Its what some people do. We play paintball, they build systems to make your ears bleed...from 20 feet away.

tha nasa shuttle is the loudest manmade volume (other than something like a nuke which is uncontrolled) and it takes off at 186 decibles

160 decibles will give you artificial CPR and put you into cardiac arrest.

lawnmowers are about 100 decibles
