Well, I said it was going to be done, and it is. In approximately 48 minutes, I'll be on my way down to get the Iroc. I've been waiting three months to sell my car and scrounge up the rest of the money.

I did get a last minute discount though for 200$ off because of a faulty starter (He says that it wont turn over and crank the engine over after driving it for a while, but will start after sitting for like 15 minutes...99.9% sure its from the amount of heat getting to it since it basically rests on the exhaust header.) but 20$ spend on a heat sheild from Summit will fix that, and the new ceramic headers I'm getting will keep temps under the hood down a tad. If not...oh well, I buy a new one from Summit for 100$ and bolt it in myself. Still 80$ off the 1900$ if I go that route.

Anyhow, I'm sitting here at work and I'm practically twitching with excitement...this is complete torture. I've been on the clock for 4 hours and it feels like I've been here all day.

Sorry for that all, I promise pics/vids either tonight or tomorrow...I needed to do something to pass this time.

Sorry I havent posted back, I've been having too much fun!

Im gonna try and get vids soon.

But man, is this thing is ballsy as hell. Its got a real deep rumbly tone, and when you drop it down to first and jump on it, it just roars. I was impressed for a 305, since my initial target was a 350. Very fun to drive, and the rwd feel isnt nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I drove it home in the rain with no problems.

It was gorgeous out yesterday, so I detailed the **** out of it and I was cruising around with the T-tops down the entire time, and that feels really really nice. But as from the pics, you can see its not perfect...the front end needs some fixing up...cracked paint, and cracked front skirt. Theres also a dent in the left fender, but its not huge. But hey for 1700 dollars, that doesnt sound bad at all to me. I could EASILY put this on ebay and get at least 3000 for it.

I'm really hoping I can get some footage today, so check back later...If I'm lucky, I'll have it up by tonight.

What is it again? I know its a Camaro, but what? Like a Iroc-Z or what?

Either way, that thing is damn hot...wish I could get something like that...

Thanks for that AdotJdot. But yes Snow, 3rd Gen Iroc Z camaro with Tuned Port Injection from 1990.

What kinda stang did you get AJ? Thats pretty sweet.

It was like that when I bought it and the hitch is welded, so Im gonna have to get it cut off...but yea, just too lazy I guess.

That is why it has the overbuilt tranny, the guy who had it before kept blowing them while towing his boat.

Yeah same tranny, so far its been reliable to me and the previous owner. Doesnt studder or anything when shifting around. I remember talking to you about your car and how you werent too pleased with it. Oh and yes, lose the hitch, take it to a welding shop and theyll torch it off for you for cheap.
