i had a kid in my small engines class that tried to do that to a lawn mower engine before, it put too much air into it and it didnt even run lol. if you stick that under your hood thats just more gas burnin (if its a gas blower)

its cuz it was then running too lean. he'd have to jet the **** out of the carb to get it back to the proper a/f ratio. the carb simply isnt made for any kind of forced induction.
now these cars are fuel injected, and probably mass air equipped, which means air goes through a meter that tells the computer precisely how much air is going in. the computer can then make the fuel injectors squirt more fuel and keep the a/f ratio correct

That is sick...what was with that huge hp leap though? I was like, holy ****. Forced induction can add that much horsepower? I know some of that had nos on it, but I am just saying...wow

I don't see why people are so surprised about this. People can add hundreds of horsepower on the right engine with the right forced induction....this is just really crappy forced induction..whats so special?

Saw a picture a while ago of an electric leaf blower motor attached to an intake pipe.
Probably wasn't as powerful as the gas blower.

my mistake?
because a leafblower doesnt' take as much work and time...that's why the didn't use forced air intake.
