A vette even I could love....
I was never a huge vette guy, but my uncle just got a new C6, and after driving it I love it. His is an automatic, which I have to say is nice. It has the initial slam of a manual, but is butter smooth after that. Very nice for an everyday driver, especially here in NJ. It is pretty quick off the line, but it doesn't have the "slam your head into the seat" bite that my car does. However, the ride is definately rougher, more like the Viper then my car. I think I found a vette I may buy one day, though i'm going to hold off for a paddle-shift version of the new Z06, I love driving stick, but if I am going to drive the car everyday having an automatic option is nice. Or, i'll just buy the new Cobra and bump that up from the 500hp it is now to 600hp or so and used the money I saved to keep my truck as an every day driver.

the 'vette is really a classic and has nice performance. I think GM really out did themselves with this one. but i have to say, most people buy it for the "lifestyle", or image if you prefer.
and yeah. the cobra is so much sexier.

I think people that buy Corvettes just buy them, and they are basicly a extension of there penis's. Thats my opinion. I am not a big fan of vettes.
I love mustangs though, and I love the new ones a hella lot. I actually would make love to a man if he gave me a new mustang, I think they are that sexy.
AND HAVE YOU GUYS SEEN THE NEW DODGE CHARGERS? THEY LOOK JUST LIKE NEW MUSTANGS FROM TEH SIDE!!!! I saw one today, I was like, whoa **** a new mustang, drove past it a little and it was a dodge charger, I was like, you ****in fairys, I hate you dodge now.

The extra door kinda gives it away that it is a charger.

dooms... if the paddel system they put into the Z06 is any thing like they put into the GTP's.... it's not worth the $$..
and i bet ya it's gonna be extreamly similar..
the thing is... it's what i'd call computer assisted manual... Basicly... you put the shifter down to the bottom (forgot the letter) and the paddels are activated... all it does is rev the engine real high like in a manual... But it won't let you shift too early or if you forget to shift it does it for you... My dad was un-impressed w/ it and he's a semi-avid sports car guy.
but C6 corevette... 400 HP stock from factory.. it's a NICE car

The Z06 will have a similer system to the type used in F1 cars, where there is a computer controled clutch, not the auto with paddles like used in the C6. It is more a standard trans with an auto option, where the GTP/C6 has an auto with a shift option. That will be the only auto offered in the Z06.

Yes, not the same one though.
Oldest brother dads side: '94 Viper, '32 Ford, '73 Lincoln Mark, old Triumph and Honda motorcycles.
Middle brother: Had an RX7, 1st gen 327 Camaro, Triumph TR6, Alfa Romeo, Supercharged Studebaker. Almost bought a Lotus Elise
Middle brothers best friend: Original 289 Cobra, '34 Ford Phaeton, Lotus Elan, Lotus Elite, Lotus Elise, Alfa Romeo, Baby Bugatti, had a McLaren. (Just sold the '34 I think)
Mothers' older sisters husband: '76 Caddy Eldorado (500ci motor)
Mothers' sisters husband: New vette
I know a lot of people with some awesome cars, probably why I am into them.
