My truck... it dead


with a working engine and everything, it's wortyh $800...

But the piston rods are gone... literally, they are ****ed. the mechanic showed me one,

to rebuilt the engine would cost ~$1,500~$2,000.

So... my folks are gonna get me a pickup at the end of the year


Thought i'd let you all know my blazer is gone

Gonna sell it for scrap, all the body pannels, bumpers, lights, interior, transmission, axl;es, tires, wheels, brakes. IT's all good except the engine. which is good but needs to be re-built

So.. yea. thought i'd let you all know the situation.

edit: man that sucks about the truck but you could do a v8 swap for a decent price

man. honestly, i really don't even wana mess with it

my Folks are offering to buy me a late 90's Z-71 1500 Chevy... I can't rufuse, i wanted a pickup in the first place and it will have 4wd so when i decide to pull ppl outta wet sand/muck at the field.

$2,000 is almost the price of a new engine. You can buy a 350/290hp small block for around $3,000 complete.

By the way, the scrap guys will only give you $100 for it, your better off trying to sell it, sans engine.
