My uncle just bought a silver 2005 Vert (automatic with the magnetic suspension). I took it for a spin around the block, they are nice cars. Feels very rigid and I love the look, it's the first Corvette I would buy since the Stingrays.

How is he having it optioned?

Base suspension, Magnetic, or Z51?
Coupe or Vert (electric or man top)?
Nav system, keyless ignition, ect?
Transmission (stick/auto)?

Good luck with it.

Officially the Z06 has 105 extra horses. As well as having a dry sump oiling system, alum. frame, first ever magnesium engine cradle in a production car, larger brakes, a better suspension, an engine that is 63 cubic inches bigger, as well as a few other details. There is a few good reasons why a Z06 cost almost double a regular C6.

Oh, and forget Mallett, if you really want a trick Vette Lingenfelter is the only way to go, but it will cost ya.

He's basically buying the cheapest Corvette (oximoron) they have..I dunno the specs on it, I know that it's stick, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't have any of that fancy stuff on it.. it's also a convertable with an electric top.
