Well im getting my license in 3 months! and so far i got 600 saved for a car, now im not gonna buy my car as soon as i get my license so ill be stuck driving my parents cars....but hopefully by early august i can get my car, any ideas on what i should be looking into? im looking for fuel economy and reliability more than anything so dont put anything absurd like a mustang...yea im 16 gotta look at insurance too

well I dont know were you live but in august hopefully you can get 1500 or so other wise your lookin at best a celebrity........ not very classy fairly decent fuel.....well enough said

buy a early-mid 90's toyota corolla. You can pick one up pretty rediculously cheap. It gets great gas mileage, and has some of the lowest insurance rates. Plus, this is a car you can trash around and learn to drive in without breaking the bank. That way in a couples years you can bump it up to a nicer car.

Of course it will be far from fast, but it will definatly get you from point A to point B fine.
