so yeah...i just drove a ram srt-10
wow....i was at my annual christmas party at my house tonight and this guy i havent seen for liek a year shows up with his srt-10. We talk about it for a while and finally he asks me if i have my license. I was liek yea and then my dad happens to add in that i cant drive stick. Ive driven twice at school on some jeeps and i did pretty well on those so i told him that and he just said he will teach me on the srt-10. It was way easyer than i thought for a 4 second truck. I never staled it once and the clutch was really easy. I never got beyond 2nd gear cause i was in a neighborhood area and first goes to 45.
anyways im sure you all really care about this but i thought it might entertain you for a couple secounds
ill try and get pics tmrw when i see the guy again

I love SRT-10 rams. My cousin just took his to hennessy to get the venom 1000 horsepower twin turbo package a couple months ago. His latest dyno run was 837whp and 943ft-lb of torque. That thing is insanely fast for a big truck. I thought it was fast when it was still NA. His best time was a 10.6 @ 129mph on drag slicks.

Fun stuff! There is a guy at my local car show that has a turbo SRT-10 Ram, I've never seen it run, but he has no problem lighting up the tires on the side street by the show. Personally I prefer that engine in its smaller sibling though (like the one sitting up at our garage right now):

Definitly not a 4 second truck. They run low 14's stock. Nothing special. Drive a lightning, then you'll see what a fast truck is like

UM I am a Ford fan and I love the lightning. But I hate to bust your bubble but the new SRT is the fastest truck on the market right now. The SRT finally beat the SVT Lightning. And the SRT can keep up with a stock lightning it does have a Viper motor in it.

ok.. but usually when you say it runs 11's or 12's or somethin, it refers to the 1/4, not 0-60..

just read in car and driver magazine, Stock lightning 0-60 in 5.2 seconds, 1/4 mile 13.8 seconds. Stock SRT10 0-60 5.0 seconds, 1/4 mile 13.6 seconds. Not much of a performance difference and the lightning is $12,000 cheaper. sorry man, the srt10 is over hyped
