CD player

ok, so i have a '98 monte carlo that i bought used. for some reason the CD player(which i think is after market) has this weird problem where when i put alot of pressure on the gas, like after a complete stop or going up a hill, it makes teh CD skip forward. any ideas about what it could be? all i can figure is that theres a loose wire like right behind the gas pedal, but i havent been able to check it out yet.

there could be a problem in the wiring, or it has something to do with your alternator spinning faster? try looking under there and looking for wires that may have a chance to cross other than that i'm clueless..

i think your car has too much power, causing the cd player to malfunction.
